Ok, lets see...

Well, yesterday was a pretty average day. Nothing exciting or outta the ordinary. I caught up on laundry, and 3 DVR shows (whoohoo). The kids came home, and we caught up on the going's on of the day, and I snuck in a little nap with Dolly. After I woke up, Jacie and I started playing with some of her toys. Jack came in and said "hey I wanna play" (which is unheard of, cause Jack doesn't play ANYTHING except video games). I said "cool" which ones do you want to be. Jack say's I'll be this one, this one, and this one.... well.. Jacie went crazy!!!!!! "NOT THAT ONE!!", I was shocked, very unlike this child to freak out over anything. I said "Jacie calm down, what is the problem?" "Mommy, that is my most special one, she is precious, and she was the first one in my collection." I told her that if she couldn't share, that she would loose the toy, and we wouldn't be able to play until she learned how important it was to share. AND if she didn't calm down, she would be headed to time out! Like Rosie Pope, I DO believe in talking to your child about their issues and how they feel, and how I feel, but AFTER they have sat in time out for awhile, and thought about what they did!! If time out doesn't work, I do not spare the rode, because I don't want a spoiled child. I tell my kids, that I punish them, because I love them. Its a good thing that Rosie Pope, and her nannies aren't prison wardens, she would just give the inmates a good talkin' to, and set them free "just don't do it again, o.k.?" hee hee. Don't get me wrong, I think that Rosie Pope seems like a really nice person, and obviously I watch her show, its just that some people aren't in reality about kids, and consequences. I mean we all have consequences, I can't go 50 miles an hour down the 25 mile an hour street like I want to, why? Well, its the law because its dangerous, and I will get a ticket, and if I were to kill someone because I was speeding then I could go to jail! Kids should learn that early in life! Anyway, I got off the subject I was on... (Jonny gets so annoyed when I do that lol). Ok, where was I? Oh yes Jacie-girl, she was very upset, and after I explained to her that she was being a ridiculous little brat (I didn't really use those words), she seemed to have understood where I was coming from and we proceeded to play again. Then Daddy came home, I had to finish his dinner (white rice, black beans, and chicken burritos). Jonny could really eat any kind of mexican food anytime of any day. I could make mexican food for the rest of our lives, and I am pretty positive that he would never ever complain. Thats o.k. with me, because when I am not in the mood, or don't have time to cook, mexican food is pretty easy to do. Then we watched some t.v., put the kids to bed, I took a bath, and I was out for the count!

This morning I went in to wake Jacie up, and she wasn't ready to get up, but Mama got her up!! Then when I went in to get Jack up (which usually takes FOREVER), he jumped up and was dressed with socks on, and even his hat on lol. I was in SHOCK! I think because after doing his talent show yesterday, he has an encore today, and tomorrow, and I think he is still nervous about them. He was ready to start his day. After getting them to school, I went grocery shopping, and even though I was listenin'

to my tunes like I usually do on my headphones, and had my list ready to go. I really was just not into it. I just rushed right through it and headed home. After coming home I put "some" of the groceries away and had to sit down and chill. I am just a bum this morning. Although I did get up to play ball with the dogs, but they ended up playing tug 'o' war, and I was left out of the game. When I decided to go sit back down to get on the computer, I went over to get my glasses out of my purse and realized that it is a DISASTER! Well, I am known for carrying these gigantic purses (which is probably part of the reasoning for my back problems) so that I can carry EVERYTHING in it. I am such a "just in case" person. I may need these 12 different yet similar colors of lip gloss, and who knows you never know when I might need to sew something, or read this novel, or "here, ya hungry you want a cracker", how bout a brush, or hairspray, ok, get together so I can take a picture with my camera! I mean it, its outta control! Anyway, if something ever went down, and I we were away from home, guess who everyone would go to? Thats right the Mama with the gigantic purse, thats who. Anyway, when I got my glasses and went to sit down, guess who jumped up in my seat? My Dolly girl. She is always right where I want to sit. Then when I sit she is always right next to my hip. She is such a snuggler, it is just the best. I LOVE her, and her little crazy-lazy body. Ok, I think this is all for now, I am going to get ready to go volunteer at school today. One to help out, but really I just want to sneak into the talent show and watch Jack busta move! Isn't that stupid that they don't do the show for parents? Don't worry I will be protesting out side of the school about this one! Don't be surprised if you see me on the 5 oclock news tonight!
