The car show, and recipe's

Well even though today is Tuesday, I've been pretty busy and wanted to write, and show some pictures of the car show last Saturday. So Saturday morning Jonny got up early and took the Galaxie to his first car show. Jonny has put SO much work in this car, and I am so happy that he finally put it in a car show. We have been to so many other car shows, and I have been wanting him to put the Galaxie in a car show, because I thought it would be fun. Anyway he finally signed up for one that was at the railroad museum not far from us. He left early and I was going to meet him there with the kids a little later. On the way there he called, and said his breaks went out, and he had to coast to the side, I was going to go get him but he was able to get home on his own. Well, it turned out that he just needed break fluid and everything was all good. He called me and said that it was a dog friendly environment and to bring the dogs. Well the dogs were thrilled to go somewhere besides the kids school! So the kids, dogs, and I went to the car show and met Jonny there. When we got there Dad was there with Breanna, so we all decided to go look at the other cars around. Right before we left, the guy parked next to Jonny let Jack do the hydraulics in his car, it was hilarious, to see this little white kid bouncin' up and down in a low rider. Jack's eyes were as big as can be. My fear now is that he will want one LOL. It was a really nice day, but it got pretty hot and the dogs, looked for shade where ever they could get it lol. Dolly got most of the attention because we got the questions that we always get with her... "what kinda dog is that?" When we tell them that she is a basset hound, wiener, pitt. It's always the same reaction. Wow that is some mix, lol. Then I always say "yep, she is a hot mess." She loved all of the attention.

After awhile there, we took the dogs home, took Dad to lunch, and then went back and hung out for a few. After that we went home, for a few minutes, and then went to a house warming party in Anaheim. It was a really great time, we saw some friends we hadn't seen in awhile and got to catch up and laugh for awhile. It was a really nice day!

Sunday Bobbi and Allen came over with Brian and Breanna, because they wanted Jonny to work on Brians batting down at our park. Brian started High School baseball camp Monday and he wanted to prepare with Jonny. Brian listens pretty well to Jonny, and really gets a lot outta there sessions together. Jonny sure enjoys it too, I'm sure it takes him back to when he played. After they were done, Jonny BBQ'd some burgers, and hot dogs, and I made potato salad and chocolate cake cookies. While we ate everyone watched the game, although Mom and I were in the kitchen most of the time talking and talking, you know.. what we do best lol. Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures, I have been a little spacey about that lately, but I will try and remember from now on lol.

Monday I didn't do much, I just basically was a bum! I was really tired so I gave into what my body was telling me, and I rested! I watched some t.v. , played on the computer, and watched a movie with Jack. Then in the evening my Mom called and said that they were going to dinner with Yvonne and Katelyn. Sooo, I loaded Jack and Jace, and we headed to "Jenny's diner" and had some grub with them. Although it was more like Mel's dinner, and although the service was nice, the food was terrible!! It was good dinner conversation though lol. After that we went to my house got out the big screen and we watched "The Town" which was a pretty good movie!

So that brings us to today... Tuesday! This morning I got the kids up and ready to go ( we slept in until 9) and met Yvonne and Katelyn at my Mom and Dad's and we visited and went to In and Out for lunch where we met Bobbi, Allen and Breanna. Then went back to the house, and saw my Mom and Dad for a few, and I came home with Jack, Jace and Breanna and we hung out at our house. Sense Yvonne had brought her recipes down I thought I would just take them over and organize them for her, because.. well.. it was a mess! I of course had to show her my recipe box, and said I was takin' over!! Ok, I didn't say that, but I did take her recipe's over lol. Then Jonny came home, so I didn't finish and we watched an old movie, and relaxed. Now I am ready for bed. SO, I'm gettin' off this cocontraption and hittin' the pillow!

Ok, this is my box o' stuff. I keep my recipe's, craft ideas, address's, sketch's stuff that I like in this silly box. I was keeping it in a binder, but it was a pain to get to it all. Oh how I love my box o' crap!! xoxo
