Subway.. eat fresh!

So what shall I talk about today? I dunno, I didn't take any pictures today. Mom came over and we went to lunch at McDonald's and then went and picked up the fixed part for Jonny to put on the ol' Galaxie. He was happy about that, he couldn't pick it up today, because of course he was on a date with Jacie. They had a great time! They went to see a movie, went to McDonald's, and then finished off with Mulligans, playing mini golf and games that gave tickets and toys, that will probably end up in the couch or "accidental getting thrown in the ol' trash-aroony." Any how after hangin' out with Mom and Jack most of the day, I just came home and haven't done much. I have been lazy and lovin' it!! Jonny came home, and we had a nice time relaxing and talking, then watchin' some t.v. Now I am just layin' with the dogs, drinking some wine and I hear Jonny in the kitchen making himself a margarita.

Earlier I twittered about having gone to Subway and how every single time I go there whether they are male or female no matter what Subway I go to, I am always treated like they are so annoyed they have to make me a sandwich. Like they just happen to be hanging out in a store, and I came in and randomly ask them to make me a turkey and avocado sandwich. How dare I!! I can be really annoying sometimes. Anyway, I guess I wouldn't like to make a million sandwiches a day. I mean I get annoyed that every time I walk into a Subway no matter what time of day there is always three to ten people a head of me. I mean how dare these people come in before me, ugh!! What do I expect, that these people don't also want the delectable sandwich made by an annoyed employee. So I guess when I look at it through the eyes of an employee of Subway I can see their point of view. Even though they get paid to make sandwiches the way you want the sandwich, I am sure they get a lot of people who are overly picky, and usually talk to them like they are idiots. I am sure that few are like me that every time I ask them for something I say "oh sorry, can I have one of those" or "oh sorry, can I have that on the side." Anyway I think if you are over your job, you should definitely try something different, I just hate feeling like I am annoying someone, especially when I am paying for it. Like for instance right outta high school I worked at a bakery and I got tired of snobby type Mom's coming in and complaining about how I assorted the cookies wrong in the to go box, or that it was ridiculous that yesterday we had hazelnut coffee, but today we don't?!!? Yep, I got tired of it, so I went to work for a florist and had to listen to snobby mom's order me around with this flower not that flower, or "ew, that flower stinks take that out, put this one in." Oh and if I dare suggest a flower they would look at me like I had two heads. So I get it, if you don't like the customers and you have been there too long, head out, find something new.

We live in a town where there are a lot of.. oh how shall I say this... older .. senior type people, that really enjoy giving everyone their opinion! I mean these are people who think that they are always, always have the right of way, whether they are walking or driving! I mean I really have to make sure that I look at all points when I am backing up in my Avalanche because they WILL step right out behind you, whether you are backing up or not. I can't really blame them though, I mean this town was a senior community for years, before they started building newer homes here in the last 8 years or so. They are starting to warm up to us being here, but it is sorta like we just took over. Take our closest shopping center, it still looks like it did the day it was built. Oh I'd say around 1971. Luckily for us we recently built a brand new shopping center and boy was I relieved! You rarely see the older folk out that way. I'm pretty sure its because its too far for them to take the golf carts. hee hee. Anyway I think I am getting tired of babbling, I shall finish my wine, relax and hit the hay. This Saturday has gone by way too fast!
