Bring on 35!!! The Birthday Weekend!

Well, this last weekend is not what I call "Labor Day Weekend".. no,no it was "Jen's 35th Birthday weekend!!!" Thats right I took a whole weekend!!! Why? Because I wanted it! When I woke up the morning of my birthday. I walked into my bathroom and saw written in red lipstick "Happy Birthday I love you!" Jonny had wrote on the mirror before he went to work. Then when I walked into to the kitchen written on the fridge was "Happy Birthday 143" (143 meaning: I love you). Then when I opened the fridge on a piece of paper I saw,  Happy Birthday 143! THEN, when I walked out to the car, I say this note on the windshield. These notes made my morning!!
On the way to school, Jacie drew the four of us, I'm the one with the cake! :)

So to start the awesome weekend I went to lunch with Mom, Dad, Yvonne, Bobbi, Alex, Jack and Jacie to eat some mexican food for lunch. Then we all went to do something I LOVE to do, we went to watch Brian play his first game of the year in football!! He is the starting quarterback for the freshman team, and as always he was fun to watch pass that ball!!

This was just a scrimmage game, and next week they will get there numbers, and then starts the real games! Can't wait for the games to start. Can't wait for the cooler weather too, cause that sun sure gets to ya, when you are out there on the bleachers. Its worth it though!!
So Brian's game started it off on Friday, my actual birthday. Jack and Jace stayed the night at Aunt Bobbi, and Uncle Allen's so Jonny and I decided that we would head out to Orange County and spend some quality time together, doing something we like to do together, but the kids aren't big fans. We decided to go to a car show. Then Jonny found out that to enter the Galaxie into the car show is the same amount of money if we were to just go and hang out. So, we entered the beauty into the car show, which allowed us to drive into the show, and cruise around which was a lot of fun, not to mention the fact that its better to drive around, than to walk in the heat!!
Ok, in this picture you can see how the cars cruise around and check out other peoples rides. However, that is not why I took this picture. I took this picture, because I thought these ladies were awfully trustin' of the driver of this station wagon. I told Jonny, all it would take is one swift push of the peddle, and they would be holding up the whole line of cars, while rollin' around on the ground! I know, I know, I'm sick, but thats all I kept thinking was how easily a hip can get broken this way! Ok, moving on...

I got a swift picture of Jonny, checking out some of the cars. He's so funny, he tells me the date of the car, and what kind of engine it has. That's not really my interest, I'm more about the pretty color and if it would look better as a convertable or not! Thats what's really important!

Here's Jenny, right next to an old Ford.

Just look at her shine!!! She looks so proud!

So then, after the car show, we decided to take a little cruise together, and head down memory lane. First we hit Main Street, in Huntington Beach. This is where Jonny and I always hung out, when we were dating. In fact Main St. is where he purposed. hee hee.
We love to come down and drive through, its a great place to cruise through.

Since we were in Hunington Beach, we decided to go by my Dad and Mom's old house. The last house I lived in before I was married. It pretty much looked the same.

Jonny took this while I was in the old market I used to go to for "Clearly Canadians." I can't find those suckers any where, and this was the only place I got them. Guess what?! They had 4 and I bought them all!!

Not far from that house was the first place Jonny and I lived together after we were married. This is our little two bedroom duplex we lived in. It brought back soooo many memories for us. This is where I paced around and around while trying to convince Jackson it was time to come outta my belly!
From there we jumped back on the freeway and headed back tword the Inland Empire. On our way I had to get this picture of Saint Josephs Hospital, where Jackson and Jacie were born. Every time we pass it, I think of those 2 amazing days!! ((sigh))
Jonny the fantastic, amazing, incredible husband he is, took me to one of my FAVORITE restaurants. The Old Spaghetti Factory!!! Ugh, this place is yummy, and the atmosphere is fun. I took this picture, and was planning on getting more pictures while we were inside, but... I was hungry and I was distracted by Jonny's gorgeous face sitting across from me! I was a silly fool, and forgot to get pictures inside. ugh!

Not only did I forget to get pictures inside of Spaghetti Factory, I forgot to get pictures on Sunday. Sunday Jonny and I met Mom, Dad, Sisters, Brother in laws, kids, nieces, and nephews in Temecula on Main Street. We went to Rosa's Mexican Restaurant. Oh, its so delicious! Then after lunch we went for a walk around Main Street and all of the stores. After that we took the kids down the street to McDonalds for some ice cream. It was such a great time. After the fun with family we went home and reeeelaxed. It was such a great weekend and wonderful time to bring on 35! Whooohooo!!
