So, this morning I get up and make Jacie some cereal, and Breanna (who spent the night) some waffles. Then I make myself some toast and get situated on the coach so that I can watch the Primetime episode of Jaycee Dugard. I have been waiting for this show, very interested in this poor woman's story. Actually, I wanted to see it, though I was a little hesitant because, I know it will probably scare me and make me an even more nervous wreck for my kids! Anyway, the girls are playing with the dogs in the other room (poor, poor dogs) and Jack is still sleeping. So, I get my rear end all settled in, and start my show. Thats when my handsome little nosey son awakens, and comes in. He comes over to the love seat next to me. Then sees the t.v. on, but paused because I wasn't sure what she would be talking about, and didn't want to play it until he left the room. "Who's that?" he says. Now here is my dilemma. I love when my son wants to sit with me, and spend time with me. I find it sweet, that he would even be interested in what I am doing. However... he seems to only want to do this when I am wanting to watch something that I don't find appropriate for kids! So, what is a Momma to do?.... I turned on the WE channel and start watching another recording that I think he will get bored with and loose interest all together. Maybe then he will go in to see what his sis, and cousin are doing. NOPE! He sits down, and starts watching the show about two women and their cupcake shop! LOL.. I am sorta thinking that he may be on to me, and has more insight about my mischievous plans, and I don't give enough credit to this 10 year old little punk! I am beginning to think that he likes to keep me on edge.. I thought that was going to be MY job, to drive my kids crazy, to embarrass them, and keep interrupting them when they are trying to watch shows, or do things. Turns out I was so wrong, the tables have been turned... ((sigh)) Well, little does he know that pay backs are tough, and he is gonna see what its like when he is ohhhh I'd say about 15, maybe 16! hee hee!!
This is when he sits down and is very interested in how these women are going to plan a way to increase sales and whether or not they will do a jingle for a radio commercial.. what 10 year old child would care about this??? Jackson thats who!

Uh oh, I have the camera out, and have got the little monsters attention. Now what are you up to Mom?? Let me go over and investigate!

Here he comes!!!

Oh, you have your computer up too, Mom? What are you doing on the computer? I am a VERY nosey little child and I feel the need to take over your t.v. AND your computer!! It's my job!

This is where his grimmy little fingers take over my computer, when I was looking up pictures.. "Oh, go back look at that one.. ok, now look at that one." Yes this is when he starts directing me, then just takes over, because I'm not doing what he wants..

Look at him! ((sigh)) Well, maybe one of these days I will watch the Primtime show. I tell him to go play in the street like my Dad would tell me, but for some reason he just laughs at me. Kid's these day's don't take their parents seriously!

Alright, truth is the kid cracks me up! He is pretty fun to have around, even though he puts wrinkles in my DVR plans. I guess I'll keep him around, and start my six year plan to drive him nuts till he moves out! bwahhhaaaaaaaa!!!
