Fun with the Jensen's!!

This last Friday Brady, and Emilie stopped at our house to stay the night while on their way to Oceanside where they will stay a week and enjoy the sights of Cali. Friday night the four of us went out to dinner, and hung out and visited for awhile. The next day they went to pick up Brady's parents (Doug, and Carla), and their son Finn from the airport and we met them in Oceanside. They rented a condo for the week and invited us to spend the night with them, and hang out at the beach with the kids. We had a blast! Luckily I had my phone with me and I took some pictures..

Saturday night we all took a walk and found a Mexican restaurant called Anita's. It was really really good, so it was a good thing we walked cause I had to walk some of it off! While walking I stopped and took a picture of the sunset. So pretty!

Then I stopped and took a picture of my handsome son. I didn't get Jacie cause she was pushing Finn in the stroller and they were way ahead of us. She was her usual self with Finn, I call her "Mama Jacie" when babies are around her.

That night after the kids went to bed, Jonny and I walked down to the beach and I took a picture of the pier. We were also trying to pretend we didn't see the couple on the beach making out, pretty gross.. and no I didn't take a picture of the couple ewww

The next day we all walked to Ruby's at the end of the pier for some breakfast, then went back to the condo to get dressed to head to the beach. This top picture is Doug who is the closest, then Em, and Brady gettin' ready to catch some waves, with Jack on their boogie boards.

Finn, wanted to come out with Jonny and watch the boogie boardin' action!

Jacie is teaching Finn how to make a sand castle. He was an excellent student!

Finn wasnt afraid to get some sand between his toes.

This is as far as Jacie went in the water. Thats just fine with me!

Unfortunately for this Mama, Jack isnt as scared. He headed out with Brady, and they were lookin' for bigger waves ((sigh))

Maybe I wouldn't get so scared if I didn't encounter those big nasty waves when I was young, and remember that feeling of being upside down under water... yeah thats why I stay on the shore now.. and the fact that as an adult fish, seaweed, and other ocean creatures in the water gross me out!!

Yup, he found one and rode it in to shore..

then he went out to find another one soon after that.

Anyway, after the beach we headed home, and the next day they took Mr. Finnley to Disneyland. We had a great time and were so grateful they included us in their vacation! Luckily in about a week we are headed out to Utah and we will see them in their neck of the woods! Can't wait to see em again, they always keep us laughing!
