Its been a pretty busy week, sleepovers, shopping, Thanksgiving, baking... Jacie and I baked soome peanut butter - reeses pieces cookies. Jacie likes to watch the Pioneer Woman with me, and she likes to take pictures of the food she makes and then blogs about it. Jacie thought it would be a great idea to take pictures of our cookie baking process. "Hold on Mommy, I'm gonna get the camara!!"....

My little photographer. She was very happy with herself!
We had a great Thanksgiving, and everything went very, very well. We ate till we were stuffed and visited with happiness!!
Friday Jonny, and I took the kids on a little road trip to Ridgecrest. Its about a 2 hr. 45 min. drive from where we live, to visit with Jonny's sister, Cindy and her amazing family. Her husband, Dave, our Nephew Josh, Josh's wife Tiffany, Josh's son Parker, our neice Heather, and her boyfriend Evan! Not to mention all of the lovable dogs! We had a safe trip there and a safe trip home. The drive went quicker than I thought... however Jonny drove, so he might have a different perspective. heehee.
Once we got there, we were spoiled rotten with an awesome dinner, and an awesome breakfast, with some awesome visiting, conversation, and laughing in between!
They took us out to a horse rescue, not far from them, where they keep wild horses. It was so cool!! Cindy bought the biggest bag of carrots I've ever seen, and we didn't leave with any extra, because the horses loved them!!

Parker and his Grandpa (Dave), walkin' along..
They were beautiful horses!

I'm a little obsessed with them.. After the horses, around the corner they also had rescued burro's... They were adorable!! |
Jonny wouldn't let me bring one home, can you believe that!?! I'm sure they would have been very happy in our back yard!
I mean look at these precious creatures! How could you say no to this face!
The next morning, after our yummy breakfast, Dave took the kids (including, Jonny, Josh, and I) out and let them ride around on the hurricanes. Its basically mini dune buggies. We had a blast!
Parker took Jack first, to teach him the rules of the road..
Jack quickly got the hang of it..
Jacie's turn!
Jacie took Mommy for a ride, Jack got a picture of us driving away..
Look out Danica Patrick!!
Heather, and Cindy came out to watch the hot rodders..
Even Buddy watched the show..
Thank you so much to Dave and Cindy for the comfort, food, fun, and laughs! Thank you to Josh, Tiffany, Parker, Heather, and Evan for the great visit and even more laughs! We had a great time.
Wish we would have gotten more pictures, but we were having too much fun.
Thank you to Mom and Dad for feeding OUR lovable animals, they love you for it, and so do we!!
