AAHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So here I sit at 2:33 A.M. writing on my silly blog. WHY?! For one, my wonderful Aunt Dee, wrote on Facebook to remind me that I have neglected my "silly blog" and TWO I was JARRED awake at approximately 1:35 A.M. Let me elaborate....

As we all settled down around 11 this evening, and drifted off to sand land,

we were lifted suddenly by THE LOUDEST clap of thunder I have ever heard in my entire life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am not exaggerating people!! Jonny and I both sat up like we were being attacked by a herd of buffalo.

We were both convinced that a plane landed in the living room, or a gaggle of trash trucks decided to park in our bed room!! It was the loudest thing I have ever heard!!! I have heard my share of unbelievably loud thunder while spending summers in Kansas and the time we spent a few hours in my Aunt Sylvia's basement in Nebraska due to a tornado... nothin' compared to this sucker!!! When it ended we both jumped up and headed to the kids knowing they too heard it and were probably shakin' from it. Sure enough we met Jack (white as a ghost)

meeting us in the hallway, and Jacie was literally shaking under her covers crying. Once we got them settled down, and convinced them that aliens weren't attacking us, and Jacie transplanted to Jacks room, they finally went back to sleep. It was quite the experience and I'm afraid of what I will look like in the morning with 0 sleep.

That will be scarier than the thunder!

Ok, lets see what else.... Oh today Mom and I met Allen and Yvonne at Moreno Valley High School  to watch Brian play a little game of passing league (I'm pretty sure I'm saying that wrong, but anyway..) it was awesome. Awesome because Brian did awesome!! He played with his JV team against their Varsity team, and kicked their butts! Now, let me just add that Moreno Valley has what we would call some "rough" areas. The guys on this team looked like they were about 22 and did some hard time at Riverside Correctional Facility!!

One of the main gentlemen that stood out looked like a double for "fitty cent." If you don't know who that is, he is a very popular rapper who survived a gang shooting.

I'm sure that description is sufficient and I shouldn't have to elaborate. Which means he looks pretty tough! This kid was littered with tattoos... yes, you read that right, a senior high school student had tattoos all over his stomach, arms, and his FACE!!!!

He scared ME and I was sitting in the stands! These guys were picking up our boys and THROWING them on the ground. Now let me explain that this was suppose to be a two hand touch game, they weren't wearing any padding just shirts and shorts. Needless to say it was a little nerve racking. Luckily the only incident was a broken finger of some poor kid on our team, and luckily I missed that because Yvonne explained that his finger was headed in the wrong direction of the other fingers (not sorry I missed it!!!) and the trainer just righted it by SNAPPING it back into place!

UGH!!  Sorry, I felt you needed a visual. Anyway, it was a great day, and they kicked some scary Moreno Valley booty!

Ok, my eyes are tellin' me its time for sleepy time.

So I'm headed to bed, and hopefully we won't be attacked by any more thunder tonight!
