Ok, ok, I am warning you, that I am about to write about nothing again. SO, if you want to be bored, then by all means keep reading. If you have more important things to do, then stop reading and do something more important.

So, I am very, very tired this morning, and I have stopped and sat down on the couch relaxing and felt like writing on my blog about nothing. I mean there are a lot of things that are driving me nuts, but I'm not really in the mood to write about them. I mean you let out something that bothers you and there is sure to be someone that completely disagrees, which means you will piss em off, and they are bound to give there opinion. I'm not really in the mood for that.

So, I'm about to turn 35. When I was 25, I thought 35 sounded sooo old! Now that I am about to be 35, I really am ok with it. I mean besides the fact that I am having issues with my knees, back, ankles, and hips, I feel GREAT!! Ok, all ailments aside, physically I have "old lady symptoms" but mentally and emotionally I have never felt better! I have more happiness, and I'm in more control of my life then I have ever been. My Mom always told me that her thirty's were the best. I thought she was crazy! How in the world can you think that being in your thirty's is that great? I mean in your twenties your young, your on your own, your basically starting your adult life in the world. Well, let me tell ya, the older you get the better you get to know yourself. I mean when I look back at myself in High School, I was a mess. The future terrified me, what was I gonna do, where was I gonna go in life. I couldn't make a decision if my life depended on it. I was a ticking time bomb as far as emotions went, and I just couldn't control anything! I thought that no one understood me, but in reality I didn't understand myself. I worried about other people, and now I think about more important things.

Now as a woman in my mid 30's ((gulp)). I know what I want, where I'm going, and how I'm going to get there. Sure there will be curve balls along the way, but I know I will figure it out as I go. Some will be fast balls and I will strike out, some I can bunt and figure out what to do on the way to first, some I will hit outta the park! (sorry softball is creeping back on me lol). Of course it helps that I married someone that I can lean on, go to, and talk things out with. That is a huge factor in it all. I mean really I think Jonny, has given me the courage, and confidence to tackle things and keep on going. End the end everything will be all right. We always remind each other that God will lead the way, and make it well.

Having kids however does throw in a wrench into a lot of things. Not the kids themselves, but the decisions you have to make for them at sometimes a seconds notice. In fact a seconds notice is usually better, than having to make a decision before next week. If you make it in that second, then its done, over, you made the decisions and hope that you made the right one. The ones that you have think about, and think about, and think about, are the worst decisions. You think one way, and then the cons in that thinking, and the pros. Back and forth and how this could eventually cause terrible doom in your childs future, and they will hate you for it, and need therapy and tell their spouse how you made this terrible choice for them and they just HATED you for that, and will never get over it. You see? You see, how kids and the choices you make for them can potentially put YOU and your child in a nut house? Having kids, is the best possible thing in the entire world.. it is also like the book I'm reading "No wonder my parents drank." Which is a hilarious book, written by the comedian Jay Mohr!

Anyway, I am looking forward 35, and what another year of maturity brings. Maybe things will funner, I am planning on being more adventurous this year. Whoa, whoa, I'm not takin' about hiking the Alps or anything, I'm talkin' tryin' new restaurants, going into stores I've never been in before. Trust me people this is adventurous for me. I am NOT a rock climber, or sky diver, although I like to watch those fools risk their own foolish lives! hee hee. Ok, I'm done with babble, I am tired and putting myself to sleep again. Anyway, embrace your age, be happier, and lively! Have some fun!

Bridzilla and Books!

So today I have decided to write about nothing, and by nothing I mean "Bridezilla." I don't know why I even watch this dang show, cause it just gets me sooo mad! I mean, it blows me away that there are people like this out there in the world!! I mean how do people turn out like that?! Not only that, how is it, that they find men that WANT to be with them? I find myself wondering if they are somehow black mailing these poor men into spending the rest of their lives stuck to these monsters.. I mean women. What is wrong with you that you feel the need to scream at everyone and talk down to them? Ok, another thing that blows me away is that these monsters.. uh women, have friends!!!!!! Like, actual friends, that help them with their wedding, and spend money on throwing them showers, and bachelorett parties, and then sit and listen to the bridezilla complain about how they aren't doing enough! I don't know who is crazier the monsters or the friends! Now, people will say, "oh, I am sure they are just acting dramatic for the cameras." Well, they look pretty convincing, and not only that, you couldn't pay me enough money to act like that so the world thinks that I am a horrible terrible person/bi*#&. Buuut of course I still watch the stupid show, maybe because it makes me feel like a nicer person, and I can remind my husband how good he has it LOL. No, I'm sure I just watch it for the same reason I watch Jersey Shore, because its ridiculous, and shameless, and I am entertained by the insanity. I know, I know, I'm just as crazy as they are for watching the whole mess.. but I am pretty entertained by it all, and I will continue to tape the craziness!

Well, on another note, I have finished my 2nd book, that my amazingly talented cousin Rachel wrote. Seriously I am not just saying that I love it cause she wrote it, honestly I wouldn't say anything at all if I didn't think this way. Really, I told Jonny, I get sooo bummed when I come to the end of a book that I am really in to. It is hard for me to find books that I really enjoy. Romance, adventure, funny, and maybe something about polygamy and I'm set! Although I am wondering if my family doesn't like when I find a good book, because I completely enthrall myself in it. Thats all I think about! If I have to do something other than read that book, I am thinking about the next time I have time to put aside, so that I can find out what is going to happen next! Especially if I am at a really good part, and the kids are hungry. Thats when I wished I would have taught them how to defrost, boil, bake, and barbecue! Anyway I am done with the book, and I am forced to wait until October for the next one. I am also currently waiting for a book to arrive in the mail. It is written by one of my favorite comedians, Jay Mohr. I just ordered it last week, and I have been checking the mail everyday since then. I'm not sure what happened to me. I thought my Mom was always crazy cause growing up, she always had a book in her hand, and it could be 400 pages, small print and she would finish it in 2 days! I hated reading, but now... I am addicted to it! Well addicted, if I am really interested in the story. Anyway, hopefully I will find it in the mail today, and I will be entertained while waitin' for the kids to get outta school! :) Yep, see sorry I just wrote about a whole lotta nothin'! Just ranting nonsense. Hope ya'll have a great Monday!!

School has started!

So its been awhile since I posted any blogs. Just haven't been in the mood for thinkin'. Anyway, Monday was the big day for the first day of 5th and 2nd grade! I just can't believe it, this means that Jack is going to be in Middle School next year. Seriously, they say when you have kids, time flies, and "they" are right it really, really does! I mean just yesterday we were moving to our first house, with our little 2 year old little boy in tow. Now we have a 10 year old boy, a 6 year old princess and we have been in this house for 8 years! It doesn't help either that Jack isn't your average 10 year old. I know that a lot of people may say this about their kids, but Jack is beyond his years. When Lynne first saw him she said "he has an old soul." I remember looking at Jonny like.. What? He is a minute old." Jonny just looked at me like.. "what do you expect, its my Mom" lol. Little did I know she was sooooo, soooo right! He has always had this look in his eye like he already knew something. Don't get me wrong I'm not callin' the kid a genius! I mean he is smart, but he just has this common sense about him. He is just really funny, and with it. I don't know, I just can't believe he is growing up tooo, fast!

Jacie is so innocent, so sweet, and trusting, I am TERRIFIED she is going to get hurt by everyone! I constantly remind her that "if they aren't nice, walk away from them!" I am afraid she is going to get one of those loser boyfriends, and be convinced that she can "change" him. She is so loving, and she says exactly what is on her mind. Most of the time she says some pretty hilarious things! She is going to want to save the world.

Anyway, school started out with a really great first day! The kids were so happy with their teachers, and all the friends they have in their class. Then that night Jack was complaining about not feeling so good. I thought maybe it was all the excitement of the day, but when he woke up the next morning, he was feelin' pretty bad, and he looked even worse! The second day of school I had to decided that he would not be going to school. I was glad that I kept him home, cause he was pretty sick, and slept alllll day. Wednesday came and although I don't think he was 100%, he decided it was best to go to school, and he ended up having another great day. Today he was still not feelin' the best, but had another terrific day. Jacie has just had the greatest days EVER! She absolutely LOVES her teacher, and says she is so nice, and so sweet, and she NEVER yells! This is very important to Jacie, and this is why I requested that teacher for her. I tend to request teachers if I think there is a teacher that is threatening to the sanity of my children. This year, there were a few teachers I really didn't want them to have. I mean, when you hear from other teachers that one of the second grade teachers is "bipolar" you tend to stay clear of that particular teacher. Any how, the school year is starting out pretty great, besides Jack being sick. He is a trooper and gets right back in there!

I am really lovin' the fact that they are old enough for me to drop them off, and then sit and wait while they walk to the car after school.

I mean here's the thing. There are positive things about your kids going to school and there are negative things about it. The positives are they play, and socialize with friends, meet new teachers, and learn fantastic new things, and are excited about it. Most of the unfortunate is for ME! Like if I have to go to a school function or drop something off at school, or work in the class room, I am exposed to other parents!! NOW, don't get me wrong, most of them are really nice, and fun to visit with. Then there are those handful of parents when you see them come across the campus you turn and take the long way around, so that you don't get stuck talking to them for 2 hours!! These are the nosey parents that ask what your kid got on their report card, or what they got on the last test, or what I think about the Middle School, and am I going to pull my kid out. What do I think of Charter schools, or private schools, and then go into a rant about what THEY think about public vs. private. How they are so scared of their kid going to Middle school. I always say... "well, if I lived through it, I'm sure my kids will." I mean its not like I live in Compton for cryin' out loud. I have nothing against, public school, or charter school, or private, or home schooling. Do what YOU think is right for your kid, why does my opinion matter, and what I plan on doing with my kids? Sure if I know you really well we will talk about this stuff. Geesh!

The first day of school, I heard someone call my name and was afraid to turn around, when I did I was so happy to find my friend Val standing behind me. I thought I was doing pretty good at bobbin' and dodgin, and was glad that Val was the one to find me. lol Luckily, Jack and Jacie's good friends have parents that are really nice, and I get along with them well. Its the ones that really WANT my kids to be friends with their kids, that make so darn nervous! Anyway I think I have made up for not posting for awhile I get carried away when it comes to school. lol. Hopefully we will continue having a pretty great school year! whoo hoo!!

Pros and Cons about school..

I have mixed emotions about school starting for the kids. It makes me sad, cause I remember feeling bummed out when summer was over. Its fun having the kids around, and just going out and doing what we want when we want, cause we don't have school hours to stop us. Yet.. I do like to have a bit of a schedule and that the kids aren't just sitting around watching tv or playing video games. I get excited when they learn new things and come home and we talk about it. Its fun to hear about how excited they are about something fun, or funny that happened at school with their friends. Jacie is soooo excited for school to start. My little socializer is so happy to be able to see her friends, and play new games with them. Jack.. well, Jack isnt so excited, he says he misses his friends, but he isn't to thrilled about the whole school work, homework stuff. Can't say that I really blame the poor kid.

Last night the kids stayed the night at Uncle Jer and Aunies and loved every minute like usual. Today Jonny and I went to pick them up, and took them to see Captain America. We all like the movie a lot, and without giving anything away we were all pretty disappointed with the ending. The kids had their showers and hit the hay. I am on my game and have their clothes picked out for the week, and lunches made. We are totally ready to start the year out with an organized bang!!

Anyway I am going to have to go through my "summers over, the kids are goin' back to school" blues. Usually after around the second day of school is completed I get into the groove, and my blues go away and I get used to the kids being in school. Ok, well its gettin' late, and I have to get up at 6. Not lookin' forward to that either!

Sweet Tooth at the Jensen House!

Saturday was the day before we left. We decided to spend the day with the Jensens! So, one of the things I REALLY wanted to do was visit a place called the Sweet Tooth Fairy! This is a place that I heard about from Jonny. He had mentioned a while ago, because the person that owns the place is a girl that Jonny had gone to high school with. I looked up the website, and told Jonny "I WANNA GO THERE!" It is a bakery, but not just ANY bakery, its a Gourmet Bake Shop! I asked Emilie if she had heard of this place, and her response was something like "THAT PLACE IS SOOOOO DELICIOUS!!" Yep, I knew then that we were definitely going there! Annnyway, I digress.. So we got to the Jensens and we made Brady take us there right away!!! Ok, we didn't MAKE him take us, but he offered, and we gladly... well I gladly excepted!

So we arrived at the delicious little shop, and it was just as cute as can be! I mean doesn't it look delicious?

Jacie and I were enjoying the fun little things around the shop..

Then we had to pick which ones we wanted.. I of course wanted to pick them ALL!! We decided on our bakers dozen, and took them back to the Jensen house, but decided that we would wait to eat them until after dinner, that night. Yes, it was difficult to wait.. but we did.

Then Brady drove us all up the mountain (I explain it this way, cause I don't know exactly where he took us, but it was up a mountain, and it was REALLY pretty!). We went to a Mexican restaurant that was SO yummy!

Jack was enjoying his soda!

Here we have Finnley being his cute, funny self. This kid cracks me up!!

So dang cute!!!!

Sorry just can't get enough pictures of the boy!

Gettin' ready to eat.. it was Really good.. did I say that already? Cause it was!!!

So after we got back, the MacFarlane's came over. (Dallas, Nicole (Em's sister) and their beautiful daughter, Ryleigh.

Had to get Finn "planking"

Hi, Ryleigh!!!

Tried to get all the kids, but I think Ryleigh thought it was an ambush!!

That night Brady BBQ'd some yummy burgers. Here is Dallas, and Nicole.

Then it was time!... YUMMY time!!!!!!! Sweet Tooth Fairy cup cake time!! Emilie cut them up so we could all try each of them. This was genius, cause we got some yuuuummmy tastes! I can not say it enough how amazing these cup cakes are... A M A Z I N G!

Yes, Jacie agrees!

Unfortunately our day was over, and we had to leave the Jensen family home, and said good bye to them and the MacFarlane family. We had such a fun day!!

It was such a wonderful visit, we had a great visit with everyone! Fun, fun time! As you can see the picture above, as always Utah is just beautiful.

Olympic park in Park City, Utah..

While we were in Utah Mom and Dad were there visiting Dad's Navy buddy. We met them at Olympic park which is in Park City. This was pretty awesome to watch. Jack was especially impressed. He thought maybe he would like to try sometime... hmmm, yeah maybe someday. So while we waited for my Dad and Mom and friends to get there, we watched the show..

A paper mache buffalo..

Jack posing in front of an Olympic bobsled

Different types of Freestyle that they do..

they start the bubbles right before they land in the water. Its kinda like a jacuzzi!

They get SO high!!

We were all amazed!!

Then on the way home I took some pictures of the storm clouds. So pretty!!

Fun at Bumpa's house!

While we were at Utah we stayed with Harlow, who lives with his daughter Holly, her husband Jason, and there son Brennon. Its a lot of fun, and very relaxing. Here is a picture of Oscar. Oscar has been in loooove with Jonny for years, and years. In fact I'm pretty sure Oscar hates me, because I took Jonny away from him.

This is Brennon (Holly's son) and his cousin, Nate (Mandy son)(Mandy is Harlow's oldest daughter).

The kids playin' outside while Bumpa is cookin'..

Except Jack, he's in side watchin' t.v.

Bumpa cookin' taco's!! Lori and Josh (Mandy's son) are helpin' him out....

Lynne's dog, "Baby"..

This is the newest family member, Holly's snake
"Nippy." She was sooo pretty, and very well behaved. I thought about bringing her home with me, but the only down fall of having a snake is that you have to feed them rats.

Lots of fun with Bumpa and the whole gang! More pictures to come..

Josh and Cassie's wedding..

Weeee're baaaack! Last night we got home about 9:00 from our Utah trip. It was a loooong drive with lots and lots of traffic, but it was worth it, cause we had such a great time! The main reason we decided to go this time was for Josh's wedding. Josh is Jonny's cousin (by marriage). Josh is Harlow's (Jonny's step Dad) younger sister's (Kelly) son. Did ya get that? Anyway Josh and his bride Cassie's wedding was on Thursday, July 4th. We arrived in Utah Wednesday evening and were able to hang out with Harlow, and Holly (Harlow's daughter) for awhile which was nice. The next day we just hung out for awhile and then went to the wedding. It was beautiful of course, and it was pretty cool to get to see everyone there. I took some pictures, but of course it wasn't enough and I'm wishin' I woulda took some more...

This is were the wedding was, Chantilly Chateau. It was a really pretty place!

This is Emilie with Finn, he is talkin' to Holly. Next to Holly is Harlow. I am really bummed cause I didn't get any other pictures of Holly or her sisters.

Here is silly Finn, and his Mama Emilie..

Here is Josh waiting patiently for his beautiful bride..

Here comes the bride. Her dress was beautiful!..

On the far left is Josh's youngest sister Malorie, and next her is Josh's older sister Katie. They were gorgeous! Next to Katie is the made of honor, and well.. I don't know her name..

Sayin' there vows. Josh looks so happy! .. though it would be a little awkward if he wasn't, wouldn't it!.. Good thing he was very very happy!

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson!!!

THIS is Audrie!! Oh yeah and her parents Spencer and Michelle, they are pretty awesome! (Michelle, is Harlows brothers daughter) Funny story, before the wedding began, Michelle went to change Audrie, and she did a potty on her outfit. LUCKILY her genius mommy brought the tutu and headband I made her! So she was pretty much the best dressed at the wedding!! heehee

After the wedding we went outside to hangout, while they set up the table and chairs. In this picture Michelle's brother Jon is holding Audrie, and Nicole (Emilie's sister) is lookin' at me. The very left side of the picture with her back twords me is my other sister in law Lori.

Ok, here is Jay's family (Harlow's brother). From the top left, Spencer (Michelle's hubby), Sean (Jay's youngest), Jon, bottom left Michelle, Jay, Audrie, and Jay's beautiful wife Carolee.

My kidlings..

Jacie dancing in the gazebo

Jack took the camera for awhile..

Jack made sure to get a picture of Jon's new motorcycle. It was REALLY nice!

So that was some of our time at the wedding. I'm bummed cause I didn't get pictures of there candy "bar" there were suckers and gummy bears, and gum balls. It was pretty cute, and delicious! After the wedding we met, Brady, Emilie, Dallas, Nicole, Spencer, Michelle, and there kids at an Italian restaurant and had some yummy dinner together. That was a lot of fun to sit and visit with them, we mostly just laughed A LOT with them all, cause they are all funny! I am really, really bummed cause I didn't get pictures of that. I know, I know its just ridiculous!! Ok, I have more to say about Utah, and more pictures to share but I am gonna do it a little later. Just thought I would start some of it..
