My *&%$ phone, aggressive girl music, and bipolar weather..

Last night I went to bed at about 10 and after reading for a few, I shut my eyes and was off to dream land.

At around 11:30 p.m. I was RUDELY awaken by my !%@&*@(#% alarm on my phone.

I'm not really sure why, or when I decided to set my alarm for that stupid hour, but I did. THEN, at around 7:00 a.m. my eyes pop open, and let out a ugh, because my alarm didn't go off at 6:00 a.m. like its supposed to. I'm pretty sure I was a little too rough with it, when it woke me up the night before and it was possibly getting revenge on me.

Anyway, I jump up and wake the kids, throwing lunches together, and throwing them in the car to head to the doughnut shop, because I was too frustrated to make breakfast.

Now, I don't know what it is but for some reason I feel a great accomplishment when we are running late, and I get them to our destination on time. It's like I just ran the LA marathon and I was the first to cross the finish line!!!

I know, I know, I really need a life. Anyway, it all worked out, and everyone was happy except maybe my kids, cause they had to go to school.

As I drive in my car and listen to music, I realize something. It seems that girl singers seem to be getting a little more angry, aggressive, and lets just say they put them selves out there for what ever or whoever they really want.

I mean just this morning I'm listening to Justin Bieber (yes I am a fan of his music, I can't help it) and Nicki Minaj has a line with "Bieber and wiener" in the same sentence.

Ugh!! What?!? Those two words should never ever be together.... like, EVER! gross.

Carrie Underwood,

(sweet heart of country music) is beaten up her cheatin' boyfriends truck.

What happened to crying in your beer? She's on her way to getting locked up for destruction of property!!

Miranda Lambert is drinkin', poppin, pills, drivin' erratic, and threatening people. I'm pretty sure there are a few charges there. Don't even get me started on Ke$ha, and Rihanna and there take on sex, and drinking all night in the club.

Its wearing me out to be ready at any moment to change the station because I don't really want my daughter learning what s&m is from Rihanna. geesh!

Ok, moving on. I am getting a little confused with California's weather. Its 75 degrees one day, and I'm sending my kids in shorts,

and then we wake up with rain and hoodies.

This bipolar weather is driving me crazy. I'm not gonna complain too much, because I'm still not a fan of snow, and I am happy that I'm not wakin' up to that mess. Although I'm sure my kids would LOVE it! Ok, that's it for today...

Going to the MOVIES!!!

Last month I went to the movies with Allen, Brian, and Katelyn to see Django. I am not a big fan of Quniton Tarantino movies.

Nope, not a big fan, usually too over the top for me, with dramatics, and blood and unnecessary violence.

However, I really, really, liked Django.

Sure, the blood scenes were a little too much, but besides that it was a great movie.
Jamie Foxx, was really good, but my favorite person in this movie was Christoph Walsh.

He is starting to become one of my favorites. He delivers so well, and convincingly. He is also very funny in a dry way. He was also in "Inglorious Bastards" (also a Quenton Teriteno movie), which I will say wasn't too bad, but only because of Christoph Walsh, he played a bad guy, but he did it very well! I didn't like the ending of that movie, but I probably wouldn't have liked it at all if not for Christoph Walsh.

Anyway, Django, was a really great movie, everyone was great in it. Leondardo DeCaprio was also great in it..

He was really good, even though I'm not use to him playing a bad guy, he played it well! He was actually the reason I wanted to see it, there isn't a movie that he's been in that I didn't like. He seems like a very eccentric person, which makes him an excellent actor.

Jamie Foxx, and the beautiful Kerry Washington, were really, really, great in it, as well! It was just a great movie, two thumbs up!!

Then Saturday, Yvonne, Katelyn, Alex, and I went to see Les Miserbles.

Well, I will say that I am not one who normally is a musical type of person. For instance if someone were to ask me to recommend a good musical movie, I would probably say Grease, because that is probably the extent of my liking for musicals.

Yep, I probably am not the best person to ask about musicals. Honestly, I think that if I were to ever visit New York, seeing a Broadway musical would not be at the top of my list. I know, I know. I love music, I just can't get past that much singing, and I can't ignore the absence of the 4th wall.

This maybe the reason I wasn't really into my 9th grade drama class.

Ok, considering all of this I will say that I REALLY enjoyed Les Miserbles!! It was absolutely amazing, the singing was great, the casting was perfect, but I was REALLY, impressed with the cinematography.

It just sucks you right in. It was moving, and I teared up a few times. Yep, it was a great movie, and we all gave it two thumbs up!!

So this concludes my movie evaluation, I hope you enjoyed it and let me know if you see either of these movies, and tell me what you think!

Happy Tuesday Everybody!!

Overalls, Scary Mommy, and bug bites..

Geesh, its been over a month since I've been on here. Don't think I haven't been reminded, cause I have. Just been a bit busy.... and lets face it, when I have a moment to stop, I am reading a book.
I can't help it, I am an book addict.

Anyway, I noticed something last week and I thought I would share.

See, being that I grew up in Orange County it seems as though I haven't been privileged to the same things as I have now that I live out here in the "Inland Empire."
Inland Empire
orange county

Now as I've mentioned before we have farm's out here, and Homes that board horses. We have a place that I pass every other day, that trains race horses (which is really neat to watch). There are dairies, wineries, and traffic because we are waiting for the tractor to mosey down the road to his other field.

These are things you don't often encounter whilst living in a city like the one I grew up in. Which leads me to what I noticed last week, at the school. After I dropped Jacie off, sitting in the line full of cars waiting to exit the parking lot, I see a man, probably in his late 20's, early 30's with overalls on........... I did a double take. Why?

Well, because where I came from you NEVER seen a guy wearing overalls, unless he is 90 years old and visiting from Iowa to get away from the farm to take the misses to Disneyland.

OR it was the 1990's and some R&B group brought it back by spray painting the overalls and unhooking one side.

Now I'm not saying he looked weird, I'm not judging him. I mean he looked as if he was headed off to work after dropping his kid off, but it just struck me funny. Its a new world and I am in the same state and just an hour away from where I grew up. I am still in awe of my surroundings and if I point something out, that is amazing and different to me, my kids look at me like I'm a weirdo. lol...

Ok, they aren't far off, but that's another story. Anyway its been almost 10 years since we've lived here, and some things just crack me up, and I have the need to share..As you know.

Ok, moving on, I think I will share one of my least favorite memories I have given my poor daughter. So, because Jacie loves the sun shine whenever she gets home from school she will go in her room and open her blinds. After taking a shower she went into her room and turned right around and came into my room to ask if I could close her blinds because it was dark, and freaking her out! I got up and teased, "why Jacie, are you afraid something will be in your window and say "Hi, Jacieeee." She just
looked at me and laughed nervously and said "stop Mommy!"
I laughed and saw her dark window, and right when I walked through her doorway, I turned suddenly, and said "OH MY GOSH THEIR IT IS!!!!" Jacie jumped, screamed, and instantly started crying and clung to my side.

Oh my gosh I felt HORRIBLE!!!! Not only was I was the reason for her to be so frightened that she was sobbing, but who does she run to?? The one that scared the crap out of her, and probably made her forever deathly afraid of dark windows.

Yep, that was a sad moment, and I'm pretty sure I won't be getting mother of the year any time soon. Now, don't get me wrong, if this had been my awnry son who loves scaring ME. I would have gone to much greater lengths to scare that little bugger. I probably would have put a mask on, went out into the dark side yard and waited all night for him to come into his room to see the scary sight.

He woulda jumped a mile and laughed till he cried. Jacie? Jacie (like myself) does NOT like to be scared and does NOT like when you scare other people, because she is so sensitive to others feelings. Yep, I felt pretty awful, but I tried to make it up to her, and of course because she is Jacie, she forgave me very quickly.

To make it up to Jace, her and I had a sleep over in the living room. Because of this, this morning I woke up with two small itchy bites on my arm!!! Ugh, great! Now my imagination is going wild! Was it a big hairy disgusting spider?

Was it a weird, disgusting crazy ugly bug that is crawling freely around the house? OH MY GOSH, what if it IS a spider and it bit my arm and crawled  up my nose!!! Don't worry (because I know that you are) I made sure to blow my nose to make sure it wasn't laying eggs or something. UGH!! EWWW!! Again, I am grossing myself out. Nope, I'm sure it crawled in my mouth and I swallowed it. Oh for cryin' out loud.

Ok, so on that note, I am planning on having a better weekend.. not scaring anyone.. on purpose. Things will be nice and easy going. So here's to a great weekend all!

Happy Sunday Everyone!!!
